Basbosa is a Middle Eastern dessert, and another dessert from Turkey. There are many different countries that make basbosa, but the first two were Turkey and Egypt and then it spread across the world, even though Turkey and Egypt are far from each other, than the other countries.

Recipe Ingredients

- Simid or Farina (cereal grains)

- Yogurt

- Butter

- Honey

- Sugar

- shredded coconut

- Baking Powder

Preparations

- The first thing that you do is that you put the simid in a bowl, and then you put a teaspoon of baking powder, sugar, and the shredded coconut. And then you mix them together in a bowl, and leave it and move on to the next ingredients.

- You then take another bowl and add in melted butter, greek yogurt, and honey. And mix them together.

- Then you put the mixture in the dry ingredients bowl, and you should not mix it a lot. Just until it is fully together, but not too much. Then you will get a tray and add parchment paper and add softened butter on it. Then you add your mixture and add the almond nuts, and in any direction that you want it. And then you put it in the oven.

- Put it on the oven for 350 degrees F, for 35 minutes or until. the top is golden. If you want you can just put it on broil, for 5 minutes.

- Then you can cut it, and serve with a happy face and a happy tummy!
