Do you have to start dieting and can't find anything tasty but healthy? Well this Middle Eastern originated Fattoush will make things a little interesting. It's easy quick and fun to make. Get ready to try one of the best salads ever in your life. Fattoush is known as a "bread salad" and has originated from the Northern part of Lebanon.

Ingredients
- Tomatoes
- Lettuce
- Cucumbers
- Pita Bread (DON'T GET IT STORE BOUGHT, take the time to make your crispy slightly toasted pita bread.
- Turnips
- Red Onions
- Onions
- Sumac (very important never forget it)
- Black Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- 1/2 of a lemon
Preparations
- Start out my washing all of your vegetables, if possible I recommend growing your own vegetables or going to a farm and picking these vegetables, instead of using store bought. But either way, you need to wash your vegetables very well. And you can start cutting your vegetables, when ready. When cutting the lettuce try to cut it while it is spin is on the top, i.e. not touching the cutting board.
- When you have cut all of your vegetables and are ready for the sauce. Then get ready for the easiest and funniest part of the making. You get a bowl, and add in it olive oil, salt, the 1/2 of lemon juice and a lot of sumac. Then either you put in a bottle and shake it or mix it well, until everything is fully incorporated in the sauce. And then when the sauce is ready and looks like the picture below, then you may put it on the salad and mix until ready to serve and I hope you enjoy it!
