This is the name that was given to Pizza in Italy, it's home place. Pizza originated from a village in the Southwest of Italy called the City of Naples. That is why another name of Pizza is Neapolitan Pizza. But today we will be making an Italian Pizza, and you may add any ingredients that you wish to it.

Crust Ingredients
- 500 g of Flour (any flour works, if you would like to make an actual Italian Pizza then you may use Italian Pizza Flour)
- 10 g of dry yeast
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- salt
- 1.5 cups of warm water *Not Hot Water
Sauce Ingredients
- 4 Fresh tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 onion
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- sugar
Toppings Ingredients *(some are optional)
- mozzarella cheese
- Parsley
- Spinach
- Onions
- Black Olives
- Mushrooms
Green Peppers
Preparation
- The first thing to do is mix all fo the dry ingredients together (Salt, Sugar, Yeast). Then you will add 300 g of the flour and add the dry ingredients to it and mix them well.
- Then you will add the water to it part by part. For now, your dough will look really liquid-like and you won't worry about lumps and problems. Know you will just mix it and keep on kneading it and you will slowly add flour every time it gets to sticky to move. But you will keep kneading the dough and pulling it together until you have a good dough.
- When you dough looks ready and the bowl is mainly clean you will take some olive oil and wipe the whole bowl with it and then set the pizza dough inside. You can let your dough rest normally for an hour to two hours and just cover it with a warm cloth or you can put it in the oven to heat it and make it rise faster
- While the dough is rising you will make your tomato sauce for the pizza, you will take the garlic and the onion and dice them up good and put olive oil in a pot on high heat. Then you will put the four tomatoes in a blender with some water or you could just buy a tomato sauce and add it.
- Then you will add all of the rest of the ingredients (salt, sugar, olive oil, black pepper)
- And then put it on medium-low heat and cover it for 5-10 minutes until it is boiling then you will try it and decide if you want to add any other seasonings. When you are done you can close the stove and leave the sauce to cool down a bit. And start on the dough.
- When the dough is ready and it looks like it has grown and has risen in the amount that you want then you will take it out of the bowl into a nice floury surface on your kitchen counter. And roll it out into a circle
- Heat the oven 30 minutes before putting the dough in. After rolling out the pizza put fork spots on it so it doesn't explode or make bubbles. Then put it on a pan or on a pizza pan and then put it in the oven for 2 minutes.
- Then you can take the pizza dough out and add the sauce and the cheese and whichever toppings you want and put in the oven for 10-20 minutes. However long it take to be ready.
- Then take it out of the oven and serve and Enjoy!
