There are so many things that you can make and do with Potatoes. And one of my personal favorite foods to make is Mashed Potatoes because of how easy they are to make and how so tasty melt in your mouth they are when you eat them.

Recipe

Ingredients

- 8-9 Potatoes (depends how much you want to make - if you want a lot I would recommend more than 10. 8-9 is usually normal amount. Anything less than that makes a small portion.)

- Butter

- Milk

- Black Pepper

- Salt

- Parsley

Preparation

- Firstly, we will take a pot and fill it with water and while the water is boiling we will start to peel all 8 potatoes and then chop them up into 4 pieces (the smaller you cut them the faster they boil and are ready to be made). Then we will put them in the pot and wait around 15-25 minutes for the potatoes to be really nice. Also while putting the potatoes add a little bit of salt to the water.

- Then we take the potatoes out of the water, and start to mash it, I actually tried three different ways to make the potatoes, and I found that the best way to get no clumps in your mashed potatoes is to use a sieve, and It works great. It should take you around 5-15 minutes to finish the potatoes going through the sieve to a pot, mainly relies on if the potatoes are really soft or a little hard on the inside.

- Then we add around 1 cup of warm milk slowly, part by part as not to get a really saucy mashed potato dish. You start with maybe 1/4 of a cup and mix accordingly. Some people choose to mix the butter as well at the same time and others prefer to put it in after the milk, either way doesn't matter because it doesn't affect the mashed potatoes that much. Then start mixing everything together on low heat.

- After fully incorporating the milk and butter into the potatoes add the salt and black pepper and then taste. Add more salt if needed. But you mashed potatoes are ready to serve. Just for image if you want take some butter and melt it and put it over the potatoes and cut some parsley and add it.

- I hope you enjoy it!

Thank You so Much!
